Role
Who you are
- 2-3 years of brand marketing experience, ideally in B2B or financial services
- Strong creative thinking combined with analytical skills to measure brand impact
- Experience managing organic social media for professional/B2B audiences
- Event marketing or sponsorship management experience, including organising client events or roundtables
- Market research experience, including survey design and data analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with creative agencies and manage external relationships
- Project management skills with ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Understanding of brand metrics and how to connect brand activities to business results
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail

What the job involves
- We are looking for a creative yet results-focused Brand Specialist to elevate IG Prime's brand presence and reputation in the institutional trading space
- This role combines strategic brand thinking with hands-on execution, perfect for someone who can balance creativity with measurable business impact
- You will lead our brand campaigns, events calendar, and organic social media presence while conducting valuable market research
- Develop and execute brand campaigns that enhance IG Prime's position in the institutional market
- Manage event sponsorships and brand partnerships, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Curate private events in coordination with our sales team to attract prospects and clients
- Lead consumer and market research initiatives to inform brand strategy and positioning
- Manage organic social media communications across platforms, building thought leadership content
- Collaborate with creative agencies and internal teams to produce high-quality brand assets
- Monitor brand perception and competitive landscape through regular market analysis
- Measure and report on brand campaign effectiveness, linking activities to business outcomes
- Work with sales and product teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints
- Manage relationships with external partners, agencies, and event organisers

Founded in 1974 by Stuart Wheeler as a UK-based spread betting company for gold, IG Group, abbreviated from Investors Gold Index, was initially set up to allow people to speculate and trade on the price change of gold without owning physical gold. And in the year 2000, it was listed on the London Stock Exchange and its gradual evolution into the world of fintech began.
By 2011, the company had played a part in numerous international buyouts before narrowing its focus down to financial wagers. During the latter half of that decade, IG shut down its binary options trading platform and focused instead on building an investment portfolio with partner BlackRock Investments, all whilst maintaining its Forex and CFD trading processes. Since then, it has become a fast-paced market leader in the investment space.
In recent years, IG Group has developed major platforms for various trading actions and has grown profit and revenue significantly. Alongside this it has acquired a number of companies, including tastytrade and Freetrade, and launched its own crypto product, making it the first UK-listed company to launch crypto trading to retail investors. This further proves how much of a staple IG Group is in the world of financial trading.
