What the job involves
- As a Senior Operations Associate you will be a detail-oriented executor who handles recurring operational responsibilities for clients and our team
- This includes gaining deep familiarity with standard operating procedures, providing cross-functional support to both our internal and external partners, and exercising exemplary problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Utilize proprietary software to create, manage and support loads for the company’s drayage solution
- Ensure clean, complete, and accurate data is entered into our systems and tracked appropriately
- Reduce demurrage, detention, and other port logistics inefficiencies
- Handle inbound and outbound communications with customers and drivers and properly escalate trouble tickets
- Identify and surface trends, optimize processes, and collaborate with managers to recommend feature enhancements that enable 10x scale
- Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders and external customers by using knowledge of internal tech product and local market dynamics
