Role
Who you are
- 2+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the software/technology industry in a manager or Team Lead capacity
- Proven track record of success in outbound prospecting, lead generation, or inside sales
- Previous experience in a Managerial role, with a strong ability to motivate and develop teams a plus
What the job involves
- The SDR & BDR Manager will be a senior member of the Business and sales Development team, responsible for enabling SDRs (inbound) and BDRs (outbound) to be successful in their roles by motivating the team and leading by example
- Working closely with the VP of Global Business Development, the SDR & BDR Manager will be an approachable, friendly resource for all members of the team
- Manage a team of 2 Inbound SDRs and 6 Outbound BDRs for the UKI and Nordics market
- Bring energy and motivation to the team by offering encouragement and leading by example, ensuring the team reach their monthly targets
- Identify and assist in the creation of team incentives, to better drive performance across the region
- Help to develop and maintain a sales and business development playbook with processes and best practices such as sales sequence, sales pitches, call scripts, email templates and qualification tactics to ensure efficiency and consistent conveyance of our current messaging
- Be at hand to answer any questions the team might have in relation to sales-technique, sales-process, product or integrations
- Take 1-2-1s, listening to calls, reading emails and identifying areas for development
- Represent Aircall with integrity and professionalism at all times, and escalate your inputs to Managers
- Contribute to strategic projects for the global BDR Team

Call centres have been a mainstay of sales teams for decades, with the human touch delivering an impression conversion rate of about 30% for inbound calls. However analogue call centres are physical infrastructure-heavy and unable to take advantage of the flexibility afforded by remote and hybrid ways of work. Aircall exists to change that, providing a cloud-based call centre infrastructure that allows sales teams to work from their home offices.
Aircall isn't the only company in this space, and it faces heavy competition from Cloudtalk, another cloud-based call centre solution. However Aircall stands out in the market by its use of open APIs and webhooks, making integration with existing productivity and helpdesk tools much easier, and its superior call quality. Aircall has developed a significant customer base with these strengths, with over 15,000 companies using its platform.
The company has raised significant funding in recent years, highlighting the confidence investors have in their offering. With a rapidly expanding presence in the US, European, UK and Australian markets and recent refresher leadership hires, Aircall could soon be a widely recognised international player in the telephone software industry.
