Who you are
- You’re a detail-oriented student with a passion for marketing and social media
- You enjoy content creation, engagement strategies, and analyzing trends to drive brand awareness

- Current student majoring in English, communications, or marketing
- Local to San Ramon area (or will be for the summer)
- 60-90 days preferred (10 business weeks)

What the job involves
- The intern manager will be the Social Media Manager
- We are seeking a Social Media Intern to join our marketing team this summer
- This is an incredible opportunity to learn and grow alongside leaders and industry experts within an AI-powered tech company
- You’ll gain hands-on experience in social media strategy, content creation, and engagement analytics to support Dialpad’s online presence
- Managing corporate social media channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook
- Creating engaging content that builds brand awareness and fosters community engagement
- Monitoring and responding to social media interactions to enhance audience relationships
- Tracking and analyzing social media performance to optimize strategies
- In your first 30 days you will:
- Become familiar with social media management tools for scheduling, monitoring, and reporting
- Assist in monitoring social media channels for trending topics and relevant discussions
- Collaborate with the marketing team on social media content development and execution
- By the end of your internship you will have:
- Gained hands-on experience in social media marketing and strategy
- Assisted in implementing a content strategy and analyzing performance metrics
- Managed a social media editorial calendar
- Worked cross-functionally with HR, Demand Generation, and Content teams
- Paid position providing exposure to social media marketing strategies and execution
- Deeper understanding of social media tools and best practices
- Development of essential soft skills like communication, problem-solving, and teamwork
- Support growing requests for social media amplification
- Provide fresh perspectives on content and engagement strategies
- Increase brand awareness among potential future hires
