Senior Social Media Manager, ProWritingAid

• 5–8+ years of experience in organic social media, including strategy ownership and hands-on content creation
• Proven ability to scale and manage multi-channel growth for brand social media accounts on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
• Strong creative sensibility—you understand storytelling, trends, and tone, and can build and give feedback on content that resonates with niche audiences
• Analytical mindset—you’re confident building dashboards, analyzing performance, and translating data into insight
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and collaborate across disciplines (marketing, content, design, community, etc.)
• Experience managing contractors, freelancers, or direct reports as we grow the function
• Exceptional writing and communication skills
• A proven track record of owning social media strategy and driving real business impact (not just engagement)
• Fluent English speaking and writing; strong familiarity with North American culture, language use, and tone—able to create content that resonates with a primarily US and Canadian audience

• Own the social media function end to end: Lead strategy, planning, execution, and reporting for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels

• Test, learn, and innovate: Stay ahead of platform changes and trends. Experiment with new formats, tools, and ideas to continually evolve and improve performance
