Who you are
- Our business is fast-paced and we are defining a category, so you will need to excel in the ability to evangelize Maven’s voice with passion and credibility - across your team, prospects, consultants and the market
- 5+ years of experience managing a winning sales team focused ideally selling to HR/Benefits
- Experience sourcing and hiring top talent and coaching high performing sales team members
- Successful track record closing complex deals, ideally selling to HR/Benefits
- Experience with hiring and coaching high performing sales team members
- Proven track record of building, negotiating and closing deals by working across all levels at an organization
- Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
- Strong written and communication skills
- Thoughtful and organized collaborator, working with and leading cross-functional teams
- Experience in Salesforce

- A network of relationships with key stakeholders in healthcare: brokers, benefits admin. Platforms, etc
- Passion for documenting and contributing new ideas and feedback from market to product
- Experience working cross-functionally in a face paced start-up environment
What the job involves
- Maven is looking for an exceptional sales leader to join our Employer Sales Team
- In this role, you will be leading a portion of our quickly growing Employer Sales Team
- Your team will spearhead our growth by creating market demand, developing prospect and buyer level strategies, and architecting deals and contract terms that will be credible and exciting to prospects, will increase revenue and will position Maven to scale
- The role will report to our VP of Employer Sales
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing your team
- Build and increase pipeline across assigned market segment(s)
- Work with VP Sales to manage recruiting, objective setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales reps
- Present sales and revenue reports and forecasts to the management team
- Represent Maven at industry events and conferences
- Manage the team through the sales process - qualification to close
- Help develop and maintain a network of relationships with key stakeholders and influencers in healthcare: brokers, payers, benefits admin. platforms, exchanges, etc
- Be highly motivated, self-starting, data driven and results-oriented
- Contribute to the sales strategy and process that results in landing new clients

The digital health model delivered by Maven is intended to make healthcare services more accessible: it aims to support those that have been marginalized by the traditional health care system.

However, Maven's focused on marginalised groups is what sets it apart.
Maven has received significant funding as it continues to address areas of underrepresented healthcare coverage, such as treatment of postnatal depression. As the company grows, Maven will use this new funding to continue to personalise its platform and enhance its service's cultural flexibility, increasing its support networks across all stages of family and reproductive life. Recent examples of expansion is new product offering for personalised support for those trying to conceive naturally.
