Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in account management, enterprise sales, or customer success in a B2B SaaS environment
- Demonstrated ability to drive commercial growth and upsell strategic solutions across complex accounts
- Strong understanding of enterprise relationship management, including multithreading, executive engagement, and stakeholder mapping
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor your message to different audiences
- Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple clients and priorities with ease
- Strategic mindset with a bias for action—you don’t just identify opportunities, you drive them forward
- Experience in multifamily, PropTech, or real estate SaaS
Desirable
- Experience working with large third-party operators or ownership groups
- Familiarity with CRM and project management tools (e.g., Hubspot, Monday.com, Asana)
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a strategic and relationship-driven Senior Account Manager to join our growing Customer Success team
- In this role, you’ll be responsible for the long-term success, retention, and expansion of a portfolio of enterprise clients
- You’ll operate as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, using a consultative approach to uncover new opportunities, drive commercial growth, and deepen partnerships across the client organization
- This is not your typical post-sales role—our Senior Account Managers are strategic thinkers, revenue drivers, and relationship builders
- You’ll work closely with Customer Success, Product, and Implementation to ensure that Venn becomes an embedded, indispensable solution for our clients
- Own the commercial success of a book of business, with accountability for net revenue retention and expansion targets
- Cultivate deep, multithreaded relationships across client accounts—from operators to C-level stakeholders
- Use a consultative approach to uncover client needs and recommend new solutions, features, and services that drive tangible business outcomes
- Develop and maintain Account Development Plans to track client goals, risks, product utilization, and growth strategy
- Partner closely with Customer Success Managers to ensure client satisfaction, value realization, and adoption
- Lead quarterly business reviews and executive strategy sessions to reinforce Venn’s impact on operational efficiency, resident satisfaction, and NOI
- Navigate internal teams to deliver client outcomes—ensuring seamless handoffs, timely responses, and a coordinated account strategy
- Monitor contract terms, renewals, and billing to ensure alignment and maximize lifetime value
Our take
In an age where we are spending more of our lives online, there are a handful of technology companies hoping to help us foster offline, local relationships. Facebook and Nextdoor are just a couple attempting to build connections between people and in turn offer services relevant to them - but Venn’s cofounders believe they can do a better job.
Where Facebook’s local offering emerges in a mess of products, and Nextdoor battles controversy and its own unfocused service, Venn has a much more precise strategy. The startup is focusing just on urban areas where there are large apartment buildings, and is forging deals with the landlords of these buildings to build links to their tenants, delivering revenue.
Moving forward, the startup has plans to expand into multiple US markets while ensuring that for every one they foster true connections between neighbors and neighborhoods. Scale can sometimes mean a loss in authenticity but as long as Venn sticks to its local roots, it should ensure millions of people in thousands of neighborhoods are happier, more connected, and more involved in their communities.
