Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in Marketing Operations or a closely related role, with a track record of improving systems, processes, and performance
- Hands-on expertise with Salesforce and HubSpot, including workflow automation, reporting, and data hygiene
- Experience supporting a Product-Led Growth (PLG) or hybrid PLG/Sales motion, and partnering closely with teams running ABM programs
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for go-to-market teams
- Familiarity with attribution models and multi-touch measurement, and an understanding of what it takes to build reliable performance reporting
- Comfort working cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Operations to align priorities and drive execution
- Experience working in B2B SaaS and/or operating in a scaling, high-growth environment
- Exposure to modern data and experimentation tooling (e.g., experimentation platforms, data warehouses, BI tools) and curiosity about what “good” looks like in a scalable GTM stack
- A strong bias toward execution, clarity, ownership, and continuous improvement
What the job involves
- Marketing Operations sits at the center of our GTM motion. You will own the marketing technology stack, help define how campaigns are structured and measured, and ensure leads move smoothly through the funnel from first touch to revenue
- You’ll partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Enablement, Finance, and RevOps to help our go-to-market engine scale efficiently and predictably. This is an individual contributor role with broad ownership and high visibility
- Own the Marketing Technology Stack:
- Provide end-to-end oversight of the MarTech stack to ensure reliability, scalability, and alignment with growth goals
- Evaluate and optimize tools to improve acquisition, conversion, and pipeline impact
- Define & Measure Marketing Performance:
- Establish and maintain standards for campaign setup, tracking, attribution, and performance measurement
- Own definitions and ongoing monitoring of core marketing KPIs
- Build dashboards and reporting that leadership can use to make confident decisions
- Analyze campaign performance and recommend prioritization and investment adjustments
- Lead & Funnel Operations:
- Define, document, and continuously improve processes for inbound, outbound, partner, and event-driven leads
- Monitor funnel performance and proactively identify issues or opportunities
- Experimentation & Optimization:
- Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests across campaigns, landing pages, messaging, and funnels
- Translate results into clear recommendations and scalable improvements
- Help build a culture of disciplined experimentation grounded in data and impact
- Planning, Budgeting & Enablement:
- Support the CMO and marketing leadership with planning and budgeting
- Provide visibility into performance and ROI relative to spend
- Enable marketing team members through training, documentation, and best practices
- Create and maintain documentation to support clarity and repeatability as the team scales

Our take
Blue J Legal’s AI powered platform was created by a team of law professors and data scientists with the aim of helping fellow legal professionals gain a better understanding of individual cases, more quickly than if they researched an entire case themselves.
Having initially focused solely on legal cases, Blue J also now applies its predictive AI software to tax law – a tool which has become popular amongst tax attorneys and accountants, not just for its speed but for its junior-training applications.
While there’s been huge growth in the use of AI in the legal industry, its outcomes have not been without flaw. Blue J claims 90% accuracy for its predictive software, however there have been some cases documented across the whole industry where AI was biased against minority demographics for example.
The key thing for Blue J Legal moving forward is the accuracy of its software. If the company can maintain the very highest standards and maintain its AI’s integrity, it could become not just financially successful, but socially impactful.
