Role
Who you are
- 2+ years of experience in Amazon account management
- A strong proven competence in either Seller or Vendor central
- Experience optimising stock availability on Amazon through forecasting, inventory management, working with 3rd party logistics providers, and returns optimisation
- Proficiency in using Amazon-specific analytics tools (eg. Helium10)
- Ability to take initiative and proactively identify issues and recommend solutions
- Affinity to effectively collaborate with internal teams
- Proficient knowledge and use of Excel
What the job involves
- We’re looking for an Amazon Account Manager to join our team to drive the performance and sales of our products on Amazon, by implementing effective sales strategies & processes
- You'll be an advocate for Amazon and ensure our strategies and tactics align with Yoto’s overarching goals, growth targets and values
- Own the Amazon account and be responsible for day-to-day management and performance
- Take the lead on key initiatives, and work on projects that will drive the Amazon operational processes forward in line with OKRs and KPIs
- Consistently work to ensure that product listings are set up to optimise for search and conversion
- Monitor, analyse, and report on Amazon-specific KPIs, using data to make informed decisions and improve performance
- Work with supply chain team, to ensure optimal inventory levels, forecasting demand, and preventing OOS or over stocks
- Improve operational performance through logistic efficiencies
- Provide support and troubleshooting on ad-hoc Amazon issues, resolving them in a timely and effective manner

A key development in the last 5 years has been a move towards screen-based kids entertainment like apps and streaming services. However, more recently there have been concerns that excessive screen time for children can be damaging to health and development. So, many consumers are looking for alternative products which will expose children to modernity without the drawbacks of many modern devices. This is the demand which Yoto is setting out to capitalise on.
Yoto's product - a screen-free audio platform - enables children to access features such as audiobooks, podcasts, and soundscapes via physical cards inserted into the device. The Yoto Player has received considerable early praise from consumers and from investors also, who granted Yoto considerable funding.
Perhaps the most difficult challenge for a business operating in the highly competitive children's toys market is keeping its product current. However, Yoto's software is fully customisable, meaning that alongside its library of content, parents can add their own audio files to the device to suit the interests of their children. This imbibes Yoto with a customisability that gives it an edge, especially as children's tastes change with age.
