Role
Who you are
- Sales experience with subscription or recurring revenue products, ideally in the HR tech or recruiting space, is highly preferred
- This is a results-driven position that requires a track record of success and consistently exceeding quota
- 2+ years experience in selling with a focus on net-new business/logo acquisition. Previous SaaS experience is a plus
- Full sales-cycle management skills, from prospecting to close. A track record of success and consistently exceeding quota
- Competitive mentality with an innate desire to be at the top of the leaderboard
- You follow a sales process and methodology (Solutions selling, Challenger, or other)
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Salesloft, and Zoominfo
- Preferred but not required: You have successfully sold to Human Resources and Recruiting organizations

- Instawork is moving one step closer to achieving our vision to create economic opportunity for local businesses and professionals by connecting them for permanent hiring needs
- To support our ambitious growth goal, we are seeking an Account Executive
- Reporting to the GM of Instawork Hiring, this role serves as a critical team member of the Hiring GTM team
- You will be responsible for establishing a collaborative business relationship between Instawork and prospects
- Establish a collaborative business relationship between Instawork and prospective Partners. Execute the sales strategy for our B2B hiring marketplace by reaching out to executives and key decision makers
- Utilize a consulting sales process to demonstrate how Instawork is a faster and cost-effective solution compared to competitors
- Ensure a top-notch first experience with Instawork and obsess over expanding the account in the first months as a customer
- Strategically work an assigned account list focusing on net new client acquisition, closing new business over the phone and in-person by delivering tailored sales presentations and product demonstrations
- Conduct field prospecting activities, including visiting potential clients’ businesses, attending industry events, and networking to uncover new sales opportunities
- Provide accurate weekly forecasts and sales plans
- Work collaboratively with the Marketing and Operations teams to drive revenue growth with new customers
- Provide actionable product feedback to help iterate our product offerings and GTM strategy
Our take

Instawork hosts an online marketplace that connects gig workers with local businesses across a variety of sectors including healthcare, hospitality, and warehouse work. Workers are paid hourly upon completion of a gig, at which point both the employer and worker themselves can provide feedback on the experience.
Whilst the startup faces competition within this gig-work industry, Instawork holds a smart focus on providing reliable and short-notice workers for businesses that need them. Gigs can be arranged within just a few hours of notice, and any employer or employee who cancels a job will be temporarily suspended in order to improve job success rates. Instawork's 2023 Series D funding is accelerating its AI capabilities and expanding its presence within staff distribution centres for some of the American continent's largest retailers and sports stadiums.
