Manufacturing Engineering Technician, VulcanForms

• 3+ years’ experience in a hands-on technical role in manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and operations
• Experience in supporting the implementation of new processes and equipment
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques
• CNC machining knowledge and experience

• VulcanForms Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician for our Newburyport, MA location
• As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician at VulcanForms Inc., Newburyport, MA, your main objective will be to provide hands-on technical support for the Manufacturing Engineering and Production teams. You will be responsible for supporting engineering project implementation and process improvements
• This work includes process development, commissioning and troubleshooting of post process equipment and various forms data collection
• Support the improvement projects for product quality by identifying manufacturing issues, developing cost-effective solutions including scrap reduction
• Develop, implement, and maintain processes for manufacturing parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies
• Work with Production Associates to resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment, and product design
• Use data-driven root cause and corrective action tools to drive solutions
• Support product cost reduction projects
• Ensure the safety of all associates by identifying safety issues and taking measures to proactively address concerns and adhere to the safety policies and procedures
