Previous experience owning a book of business where you were responsible for. driving adoption, retention, growth, value realization, expansion, upselling, etc
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders
Experience providing ROI presentations or business reviews to senior stakeholders

Previous B2B SaaS experience is highly preferred
Previous experience in financial services, FinTech, or alternative investments highly preferred

What the job involves

As a Relationship Manager, you’ll be joining an experienced team of Relationship Managers to lead long-term, strategic relationships with our clients.
The Relationship Manager’s role is to develop strategic relationships with key decision makers / C-Suite, ensure the successful adoption and overall health of clients, deliver value and ROI to clients, identify opportunities for growth, and own the client renewal process.
This position will have direct access to the world’s leading allocators of alternative investments and play an active role in designing the team and company’s scale strategy
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships within our Institutional and Wealth Management segments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Client Success, Implementation, Support, Sales, and Leadership to drive retention and revenue growth
Lead the adoption of best practices for client retention, including business reports
Drive net dollar retention (post-sales expansion and renewals) for Canoe’s clients

Our take

The internet presents itself as a seemingly infinite source of crucial information, particularly when it comes to financial information to inform smart investment. However, the sheer amount of data available makes it incredibly difficult to mine, aggregate and analyze in a way that is fast and efficient enough to be useful.

Canoe leverages AI technology to automate the analysis of investment data, including document collection, data extraction, categorization and validation. The technology is provided in the form of cloud-based tools, API packages and integrated portals, ultimately aiming to present a unified system in which investors can tackle the inefficiencies of manual investment data analysis.

It's undeniable that other automated data analysis services are available, but the unified nature of Canoe makes it stand out as a solution with a lot of potential. Off of 2024's Series C funding, the company is further optimizing and developing its product offerings and has recently launched an AI tech incubator, signalling clear ambition to lead as the next wave of data-driven innovation starts to take shape.
