• Strong understanding of how school and trust leadership works - gained from firsthand experience working in (or possibly with) them. You need to know what leaders want and how things get done, so you can offer the information and advice they need rapidly
• The ability to produce high-quality work at pace and with exceptional attention to detail. We need you to help us get things right for schools, fast
• Excellent communication skills - through clear and authoritative writing, speaking and presentation. School leaders are busy: you need to be able to identify what matters and communicate it to them succinctly
• A strong desire to make systems and processes work for users - and the ability to think flexibly about how best to achieve this. We’ve only been running School Surveys for two years, we want you to help us improve them. You don’t need prior survey experience, you need to have improved things for users: this might mean you restructured leadership meetings, reworked the appraisal process, or fixed the lunch queue

• School Surveys supports school and trust leaders to make better decisions, by helping them to grasp what their school community experiences, thinks and wants. We’re moving fast and growing rapidly: we currently work with 350+ schools; we run 100 surveys some weeks
• This is a rare opportunity to join the team. We’re looking for a smart, enthusiastic generalist with a strong knowledge of school and trust leadership who is ready to help us serve more schools, better.
• In particular, we want you to help us: (1) Partner with a lot more schools and trusts (2) Ensure that the schools and trusts we work with are using surveys effectively and making their schools work better as a re
• Things you will do in your job day-to-day...
• Helping leaders get to grips with the survey platform and advising them on how to use it to improve their school
• Giving quick and clear answers to leaders who are stuck or need help, mostly by email, sometimes on the phone
• Reviewing what we’re doing and identifying possible improvements to technology, processes or support - then working with the team to make them happen
• Sharing what we’ve learned and what we do: attending conferences, writing blogs, or creating new resources
• Explaining School Surveys to schools and trusts, answering their questions, and encouraging them to sign up
• Help school leaders learn from surveys of their community!
