Role
Who you are
- Experience in the Customer/CRM analytics and digital marketing domain with a demonstrable track record in influencing and delivering business impact using data
- A good working knowledge of SQL, including experience in data blending and manipulation, and Python (desired)
- Experience using industry-standard data-visualization tools (Tableau preferred)
- Experience working in a big-data environment with large, complex, and variously sourced data sets
- A highly numerate and analytical mindset focused on the customer and the commercial benefits of making change
- The ability to communicate complex information and concepts in a simple and digestible way for non-technical stakeholders of all levels
- Experience preparing and giving impactful presentations to your stakeholders, with a focus on key insights
- A passion for solving new problems and enjoying the challenge of learning new skills and furthering your understanding along the way
- An undergraduate-level degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Physics, or equivalent numerical degree - or have demonstrable industry experience
- Experience Level: Mid-Senior level
What the job involves
- Our Digital Division is now seeking a talented Senior Customer Analyst to join the team
- Reporting into: Analytics and Insights Manager
- Be the go-to expert for marketing analytics needs for your stakeholders
- Understand the latest trade results and main drivers
- Guide decision-making by providing detailed, action-orientated insights, continuously highlighting potential opportunities and risks
- Be experienced in communicating insight, both verbally and via documentation, in the most suitable, comprehensible, and impactful way for your stakeholders
- Lead the creation of accessible, relevant, and actionable reports and dashboards, using multiple sources of data
- Be creative in your approach to analytics, selecting the tools and techniques best suited to solving each problem
- Take a leading role in the analytics team, championing best practices, challenging the status quo, and advocating the use of data in decision-making
- Develop collaborative relationships with your stakeholders and a deep understanding of their business areas, enabling you to develop hypotheses and make relevant, credible recommendations that flow from your insights
- Influence your stakeholders in discussing, suggesting, and establishing the most important and relevant KPIs
- Lead analytics projects, dealing comfortably with ambiguity
- Be a stakeholder to the data platform team, working collaboratively to develop a platform suitable for your analytical needs
