Role
Who you are
- You have 1-2 years of experience in account management, partnerships, affiliate marketing or business development
- You have excellent negotiation & communication skills and are able to build long-standing relationships quickly
- You can oversee and prioritise multiple projects and partner requests
- You are a self-starter, possess a hands-on attitude and a proactive mindset
- Ability to analyse data and derive actionable insights (you can work with Excel/Google Sheets and big data sets)
- Passion for staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies
- English at a native level, and German is a big plus
What the job involves
- As an integral member of the team, you’ll support our affiliate and data & insight clients while also taking ownership of select partnerships
- You’ll also collaborate with the Product team on experiments and A/B testing, helping us refine and improve our product offerings
- Your contributions will play a direct role in maintaining our position as the movie and TV industry’s preferred partner
- We’re looking for someone who’s both people-oriented and detail-focused, eager to learn, driven to succeed, and talented at building meaningful connections
- Support the Partnerships Manager in communications with our affiliate partners - including major players like Prime Video, Disney+, and HBO Max
- Take ownership of select affiliate partnerships, driving revenue growth, negotiating new agreements, and launching new affiliate partners on JustWatch
- Manage reporting and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and using insights to steer partnership growth
- Lead API partnership negotiations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver smooth integrations. Support for new partnership opportunities for the JustWatch Widget rollout
- Work closely with the Product team to design and test new features, support A/B experiments, and ensure all affiliate integrations run smoothly for releases across the JustWatch website and mobile app
Our take
For years, JustWatch served as a global streaming guide, simplifying the search for shows across platforms like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. On top of this, it leveraged user data to run targeted movie marketing campaigns.
However, in the 2020s, JustWatch introduces a significant upgrade. Following in the footsteps of Plex and Reelgood, users can now seamlessly search, access, and receive recommendations from all their streaming services within a single app.
Remarkably, despite minimal external funding since its 2014 inception, JustWatch has expanded into approximately 60 markets with a team exceeding a hundred members. As the streaming services market becomes increasingly diverse and fragmented, JustWatch finds itself in a promising position to capitalize on these developments.
