Role
Who you are
- Demonstrable success in growing selling complex enterprise SaaS products
- Significant experience selling into the Middle East market
- Experience selling to Enterprise size organisations (over 4,000 employees to the largest)
- Ability to educate and create demand with C-level decision makers
- Strong experience and passion for winning and then growing new logos
- Ability to navigate complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders from both the customer base and within the internal ecosystem
- Experience selling alongside GSI's and partner ecosystem
- Technical aptitude and curiosity to learn
- Expertise using a Sales Framework such as MEDDICC, Challenger or Sandler
What the job involves
- This team has one of the most exciting goals in EMEA - breaking into a host of new logos across the Emerging Markets
- The team have already been hugely successful in gaining some valuable customers in these territories but we have a tremendous amount of whitespace opportunity to target and win as we bring our market leading identity security solutions to these markets
- Own your own business in the Middle East region
- Proactive drive top of funnel activity to drive net new pipeline generation
- Run every sales cycle with a methodical and controlled MEDDPICC sales approach
- Adhere to strong operational excellence with thorough territory planning and accurate forecasting mindset
- Targeting Developers and technical audiences with a bottom up, top down approach
- Scope, negotiate and close agreements to consistently meet and exceed revenue quota targets
- Holistically embrace, access, and utilise Okta partners to identify and open new, uncharted opportunities
- Build and nurture effective working partnerships within your Okta ecosystem (SDRs, Partners, Pre-Sales, Customer First, etc)
- Adopt a strong value based sales approach, always looking to bring a compelling point of view to each customer
- Travel as necessary to meet customers in person
Our take
Okta started off as an identity company where organisations, large and small, could tap into the company to have a single sign-on interface to access all cloud applications now centralised. Okta has since expanded to provide identity management at the device as well as the server level.
The new approach towards network security is increasingly based on identification and authentication, and Okta is on track to become the go-to vendor in the space. They aim to do so by developing products that enable people to access applications and other tools more smoothly and securely than ever before.
Okta has taken strides towards expansion through significant employee growth and shuffling executive leadership. The company has also made lateral moves such as tackling governance concerns, opening up new paths for revenue.
