Role
Who you are
- The successful candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong relationships with key stakeholders within multi-layered organizations
- Experience: 3+ years of proven success in media sales, ideally within a digital agency, CPG brand, or a retailer with a retail media component
- Sales Track Record: A consistent history of meeting and exceeding sales targets with full ownership over deal outcomes and complex cycles
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (ideally in STEM, Economics, or Finance); an MBA is a plus, though we value a "learner’s mindset" above all
- Industry Fluency: Familiarity with the advertising landscape—bonus points if you already speak the lingo of auctions and marketplace monetization
- Communication: Strong structured thinking and the ability to navigate complex organizations with ease
- Agility & Spirit: An entrepreneurial spirit comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth scale-ups where you must adapt to ambiguity
- Collaboration: A team-oriented professional who is curious, eager to learn, and thrives in a remote-friendly, evolving environment
- Mobility: Willingness and eagerness to travel regionally and internationally to engage with clients and represent the brand at industry events

- Experience in B2B SaaS, ad-tech, martech, or data platforms
- Familiarity with retail, marketplaces, or media monetization

What the job involves
- The execution-focused Account Executive Toppie will be based in Barcelona and will be responsible for driving growth within the Brands and Agencies sector in the EMEA region
- This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the EMEA market and excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Generate pipeline of media agencies and CPG brands across the EMEA Region
- Drive sales growth for Topsort's demand-side product, Toppie, by engaging in strategic conversations with retailers and agencies
- Develop brand partnerships and media plans while maintaining close collaboration with partners on the supply-side
- Attend various industry events, trade shows and be an active voice of Toppie in EMEA
- Build product knowledge and become a subject matter expert on Topsort’s entire product stack, including but not limited to retail media platform, ad serving APIs, and our demand-side product, Toppie
Our take
With the likes of Meta, Amazon, and Google hosting the majority of ad campaigns, contemporary strategies can become overly complicated and lacking in owner control. Topsort has created a simple and customizable API through which users can create advertising elements like sponsored listings, banner and video ads, and control how they’re shown to potential customers.
Where the platform stands out is in its transparency and privacy-first approach - delivering a direct replacement of the “cookie” system usually used in sponsored ads. Topsort’s “clean room” is an encrypted technology that has zero-visibility into privacy data, ensuring anonymity for those being analysed.
This exciting new approach to media marketing analysis and campaign planning has turned investors' heads, at a time when data privacy is a hot topic. Topsort has enjoyed an impressive $21M in funding to date, which will it is using to scale and accelerate its growth.
