- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 1 year experience as an SDR owning outbound lead generation and prospecting and qualifying top of the funnel sales pipeline in both a high-velocity mid-market and enterprise sales organization
- Ability to research and utilize salesforce or other CRM to generate leads
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent listening skills
- Sense of ownership; a self-starter with a positive and high sense of urgency
- Willingness to work on a collaborative team in a fast-paced, startup environment
What the job involves
- We are building a world-class global Sales Development team and looking for a talented, creative, and customer-centric Sr Sales Development Representative to drive and support the growth of our sales pipeline opportunities
- Support the sales process by researching accounts and contact prospects using a variety of outreach engagement tools and techniques to set meetings and generate pipeline leads for our mid-market sales team
- Conduct discovery conversations with potential inbound and outbound prospects in assigned territory or categories
- Generate qualified leads, meetings, and opportunities for the assigned Sales team by following up, qualifying warm inbound leads, and consultative selling
- Work cross-functionally with Sales and other teams to increase conversion rates with high-quality pipeline
- Work as a team to consistently achieve assigned individual and team quota of outbounds, qualifying calls, meetings set, and revenue potential
- Maintain accurate data in Salesforce and other sales operations tools

Live-streamed shopping has long been popular in China. In 2020, the first 30 minutes of Alibaba’s Singles’ Day presales campaign on Taobao Live generated an impressive $7.5 billion in total transaction value. Firework is helping to bring these kinds of video-based eCommerce experiences to a Western audience with a smart commercial strategy.
Originally launched as a standalone social platform featuring swipe-able web stories, Firework made a strategic shift towards a more streamlined B2B model. It now provides services to partners such as Albertsons, a prominent grocery chain, by granting them access to its video technology infrastructure. This enables partners to effortlessly launch diverse and interactive shippable videos on their respective websites. The outcome of this pivot has paid off, with Firework emerging as the leading global platform of its kind.
The real money in shoppable videos is ultimately live-streamed experiences, which are still not landing for American audiences. Despite this, Firework’s more complete offering, including the ability to directly collect consumer data and learn about a shopper’s behaviour, means that American brands are giving the startup business ahead of this anticipated cultural shift.
