Who you are
- 1+ years of experience in recruiting coordination or high-volume scheduling in a fast paced customer-focused environment
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- Strong proficiency with Google platform and ATS systems; Workday preferred
- Familiarity with scheduling across multiple time zones
- Comfortable communicating with candidates and across all levels of the organization while demonstrating professionalism, patience, kindness, and empathy
- Strong organization skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize work and keep detailed, accurate, and confidential information and records
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to join the Talent Acquisition team in New York to facilitate the virtual and onsite interview experience and ensure that it is reflective of the WeWork brand
- As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will play a critical role on the Talent Acquisition team, providing quality support to our recruiters, hiring managers, internal business partners and candidates across the United States & Canada. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team
- Schedule and coordinate phone, virtual, and onsite interviews across multiple time zones in the US & Canada, ensuring candidates and interviewers have all the information they need to attend the interview
- Liaise with key business partners within the organization to drive and maintain hiring processes while adhering to tight deadlines and service level agreements
- Provide logistics support for the full recruitment process, including job requisition creation, managing job postings, candidate management, offer administration and processing, and onboarding support
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with recruiters, hiring managers, candidates, and internal business teams in order to help drive an efficient and frictionless process
- Work with a variety of internal and external software applications, with the ability to learn new tools quickly
- Maintain data integrity in our systems by partnering with our recruiters to keep our candidate pipelines up-to-date
- Be responsible for other related projects or duties, like reporting or documentation
Our take
WeWork is a commercial real estate company that pioneered the shared workspace market, providing spaces for anyone from freelancers to Fortune 500s. Traditional leases typically require businesses to commit to an office for 5-10 years, whilst WeWork allows its members to scale up from a single hot desk to a private office or custom-built suite, depending on their needs.
WeWork has hundreds of locations across the globe, with hundreds of thousands of members. While its initial rapid growth and dominance in key global hubs was impressive, it has since had to scale back and strategically re-align itself in an unstable economic climate.
There is certainly still potential for WeWork to see renewed growth and success, especially as remote and hybrid working continues to be popular. That said, observers will have to wait to see the eventual affect of its restructuring - and only time will tell what the company's future looks like.
