Role
Who you are
- 7+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related field, ideally within e-commerce
- 7+ years of hands-on experience working with structured and unstructured datasets, including data extraction and querying using SQL, Hive, or similar tools
- Strong statistical and experimentation expertise, including R², p-values, t-tests, geo-experimentation, lift studies, and related testing methodologies
- Advanced knowledge of customer and marketing analytics, including statistical modelling techniques such as price elasticity and other commercial/customer models
- Proficiency in Python and/or R, with experience leveraging AI tools and agents such as Cursor, Claude, or similar solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Sociology, or a related quantitative discipline

- Consumers buy our digital products, payment cards, gift cards, gaming vouchers, and mobile top-ups. We are trusted by brands like PaysafeCard, Apple, Google, Vodafone, and PlayStation, and we're making prepaid payments simpler, faster, and more accessible worldwide
- The Data & Insights team sits at the heart of our global B2C e-commerce platform, shaping the evaluation and testing of future commercial initiatives
- The team identifies opportunities to strengthen the monetisation of our consumer base by driving sales, improving margins, and increasing efficiency, while delivering actionable commercial insights across the organisation for Recharge’s portfolio of labels and Startselect. Since early 2026, automation has become a core part of how we operate, enabling us to scale processes and insights wherever it creates measurable business value
- Play a key role in shaping and executing company strategy across payment flows, paid marketing, customer retention, and product strategy, spanning the Group’s EU operations across Recharge and Startselect labels
- Partner closely with Directors and C-level executives, translating complex analytical and data topics into clear, actionable insights for senior audiences
- Clearly demonstrate the commercial impact of recommendations and insights, connecting analytical findings to measurable business outcomes
- Conduct advanced strategic analyses to identify opportunities, strengthen our offerings, and maximize commercial value
- Proactively determine the right balance between scalable self-service analytics, including Tableau reporting and AI interfaces, and tailored analytical solutions
- Embed AI into the Data Analytics team’s ways of working, from transforming and structuring data at scale to accelerating commercial insights and automating repeatable analysis for stakeholders across the business

The volume of supply and demand for digital content is only getting larger, but for content providers, scaling up their coverage to service a worldwide customer base is becoming trickier. Payment methods, globally speaking, are highly fragmented, and only becoming more so as different fintech and crypto solutions gather momentum.
