Role
Who you are
- Product leader with at least 7+ years of total professional experience, including 2+ years as a Product Owner or Product Manager
- Previous experience at a high-growth tech startup, or as a tech entrepreneur, ideally having built or scaled a product to at least the seed stage
- Strong grasp of product management processes and comfortable owning initiatives from conception to launch
- Highly analytical and data-driven, with a strong ability to problem-solve
- Fundamental understanding of what defines exceptional UX and how it impacts customer experience
- Bias toward action and delivering results
- Taking ownership by identifying problems, devising solutions, and acting on them — even outside of direct scope of responsibility
- Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional projects across Customer Experience, Sales, Finance, and Operations
What the job involves
- We are a team of 170+ people (and growing) hyper-focussed on delivering a world-class platform and unparalleled service with our industry-leading partnerships. To help accelerate our growth and pace of delivery, we are looking for a talented Product Owner to take charge of our various product lines from discovery to delivery
- You will be owning a whole product line within RemoFirst, (Payroll, Premium Add-Ons, Partner Platform etc.)
- Leading zero-to-one product development including product scoping, designing, engineering implementation, operational workflow set-up and go-to-market
- Define and execute product strategy, scope features, design solutions, operationalise delivery, and work cross-functionally to ensure we ship smarter and faster, while being accountable for both growth and quality outcomes
- Manage a team of engineers and collaborate with designers and other stakeholders
- Engage directly with customers to understand their needs and shape world-class product experiences
- Present product plans and progress to the leadership team, ensuring visibility and alignment
- Working with the rest of the product team to set up best product management practices and processes
- Mentor future product owners to foster talent and leadership within the organisation

Remofirst was founded with the goal of simplifying this option for businesses by providing a cost-effective SaaS platform that is quicker and more comprehensive than what currently exists. More specifically, Remofirst helps companies build remote teams globally, by allowing employers to hire in more than 150 countries without having to set up their own entities, with services including onboarding, payroll, benefits, taxes and local compliance.
Since its establishment in 2021, Remofirst has achieved impressive growth, having become fully profitable in less than a year. While primarily focused on SMBs, the company also works with enterprises, with several Fortune 500 companies among its customers. Now, Remofirst is focused on further expanding its team and extending its business reach, in order to enhance its reputation and continue growing.
