• Strong understanding of front-end, and back-end website or application development, including experience working with Middleware and APIs
• Good understanding of performance optimization techniques (page load speed)

• As a Senior Full-Stack Web Developer within our website squad, you play a crucial role in giving thousands of people the opportunity to learn about their mental health and to access our digital therapeutics
• Reports to: Amit Gupta (CTO)
• It’s an exciting time to join our team, since we’ve just started migrating to a brand new headless CMS architecture (Strapi.io, React, TypeScript…) moving away from our legacy CMS (WordPress) which became harder and harder to maintain over the years
• As a full-stack web developer focusing on website development, you'll find that our approach emphasises the alignment of development activities with marketing objectives and campaigns
• This could entail swift deployment of landing pages, conversion-driving web modules, and implementing rapid iterations based on insights acquired from marketing analytics
• Where else you might have experienced a development process involving longer release cycles and more extensive testing, including user testing, to ensure the stability and reliability of the application
• Building new tech infrastructure and optimising user click flow
• Maintaining well-documented and reusable code
• Improving architectural design and infrastructure
• Taking care of technical debt on a regular basis
• Active participation in the codebase and infrastructure-related decision-making processes
• Collaborating with other developers on pull requests and code reviews
• Ensuring the security of sensitive data as per company’s guidelines
• (moving away from) WordPress theme and plugin development
• The website squad currently consists of 2 senior full-stack engineers of which you are going to be replacing one. Being embedded in the engineering team you are a bit of a special team reporting directly to Amit, our CTO while working closely with Susie, our Lead Product Manager from the Marketing team
• Your squad is responsible for the entire development and maintenance of all public-facing HelloBetter websites giving thousands of people the opportunity to learn about their mental health and to access our digital therapeutics
