Role
Who you are
- 4+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced environment (finance, legal, operations, or business support roles highly preferred)
- Experience supporting C-level executives strongly preferred
- Highly organized, accountable, and skilled at managing competing priorities across multiple stakeholders simultaneously
- Strong business acumen; comfortable operating across finance, legal, and operational environments
- Excellent communicator – clear, concise, and confident with strong professional presence
- Fast learner with a builder mentality and strong bias for action
- Comfortable with ambiguity and energized by solving unstructured problems
- Proactive operator who anticipates needs and follows through with excellence
- Expert user of Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- Ambitious, curious, and eager to grow alongside a high-performing leadership team
What the job involves
- This role reports to the Chief of Staff to the CFO and is based at our Santa Ana, CA headquarters.
- As a strategic partner, this role is expected to be on-site four days a week to enable real-time collaboration and alignment.
- We believe strongly in the value of in-person partnership at this level and will discuss expectations in more detail during the recruiting process
- Coordinate and strategically manage the calendar, workflows, and priorities for the President and CFO
- Work in close partnership with the Chief of Staff to the CFO to coordinate planning rhythms, leadership reviews, and executive alignment across initiatives
- Drive execution across high-priority workstreams by anticipating needs, managing context, and coordinating stakeholders across three functions
- Prepare executive briefings, decision materials, and communications for internal and external stakeholders
- Drive coordination for leadership offsites, team events, and cross-functional projects
- Plan executive travel and manage logistics with precision and urgency
- Create leverage by bringing structure, context, and proactive problem-solving to every interaction
- Build trusted cross-functional relationships across Finance, Legal, Operations, Product, Technology, and People
- Execute special projects and operational improvements as business needs grow
- Maintain confidentiality and operate with integrity and discretion at all times

Collectors offers a range of services for the collectibles industry including authentication and grading, collectibles research and sourcing tools, and a buy-and-sell marketplace. The industry is going through a huge renaissance, with a particularly high demand for sports and trading games cards, and Collectors has come to the fore as a major name.
The fact that Collectors is more than a marketplace serves it well in the space. Indeed, its most popular services appear to be grading and authentication, as well as storage vault services. And, with the collectibles industry forecast to double in value by the end of the decade, Collectors is in a position of serious strength.
The company has seen some good investment too, totalling over $200 million. It continues to expand its services with acquisitions of other players in the sector, and is now the parent of PSA, PSA Vault, PCGS, SGC, Card Ladder, Collectors Financial Services and Beckett.
