Role
Who you are
- You should be equally comfortable engaging architects, developers, data leaders, and executive stakeholders while connecting technical capabilities to measurable business outcomes
- 10+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture
- 5+ years in iPaaS, middleware, integration, API management, automation, or adjacent markets
- Proven success supporting complex enterprise sales cycles and strategic accounts
- Strong consultative selling and executive communication skills
- Deep understanding of enterprise integration architectures and cloud platforms
- Knowledge of modern AI technologies and enterprise use cases
- Ability to translate technical depth into business value
- Experience in high-growth SaaS environments is a plus
What the job involves
- We are hiring a Principal Solutions Engineer to support strategic enterprise opportunities across the US West region
- This is a senior customer-facing role for a seasoned solutions engineer with deep expertise in integration, APIs, data, and emerging AI technologies
- You will partner closely with Account Executives to engage enterprise customers, shape solution strategy, lead complex technical sales cycles, and demonstrate how SnapLogic helps organizations modernize operations and operationalize AI
- This is an opportunity to play a visible role in one of the most important shifts in enterprise software, the convergence of integration and AI
- Partner with Enterprise Account Executives on strategic opportunities across the US West
- Lead discovery sessions to understand business priorities, technical challenges, and transformation goals
- Deliver compelling demos and solution presentations tailored to enterprise customer needs
- Scope and execute successful Proof of Concepts / Proof of Value engagements
- Design enterprise architectures across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments
- Engage customers on modern AI initiatives including AI agents, MCP, LLM orchestration, and automation
- Build trusted advisor relationships with technical and executive stakeholders
- Provide market feedback and customer insights to Product and Leadership teams
Our take
The rise in the use of cloud software suggests room for innovation in enterprise technology. However, companies continue to use legacy software and architectures, reluctant to update their systems due to associated costs and complexity.
SnapLogic builds integration platforms for enterprises that allow for the parallel usage of both legacy and cloud apps. This prevents full migration being a necessity, and allows enterprises to monitor and connect both legacy and cloud technologies together to optimise their systems.
The startup currently provides solutions for around 750 enterprises, including Adobe, AstraZeneca, pwc and Sony. Investment from Sixth Street Growth, bringing the company to a valuation of over $1B in 2021, has accelerated international expansion and widened the number of partnered enterprises. The latter has included decisions intelligence leader Stemly, which has leveraged SnapLogic's no/low code data platform to enhance its own machine learning.
