Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience in technical sales or sales engineering, preferably in the public cloud or networking vendors
- Strong technical skills and ability to understand complex technical concepts
- Terraform experience is a plus
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision
- Customer-focused mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships
- Proficiency in CRM and sales enablement tools
- Software Defined Networking (SDN) background is a plus
- Willingness to travel as needed to customer sites and industry events
- Technical hands-on experience deploying and designing hybrid or public cloud infrastructure
What the job involves
- Aviatrix Systems is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Solution Engineer to join our global sales team
- As a Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for driving technical sales efforts and providing support to our sales executives
- You will play a vital role in understanding customer needs, presenting technical solutions, and securing new business opportunities
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and align Aviatrix technical solutions with business objectives and outcomes
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospects and customers, highlighting the value and benefits of our products
- Assist in developing technical proposals, including system designs, specifications, and cost estimates
- Respond to requests for proposals (RFPs) and support the sales team in creating compelling and tailored technical responses
- Address technical inquiries, provide product guidance, and offer pre-sales technical support throughout the sales cycle
- Identify and effectively communicate technical differentiators and competitive advantages to the sales team and customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor on technical matters
- Conduct training sessions for customers and partners on product features, functionality, and best practices
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements, providing insights and recommendations to customers
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, engineering, and customer success, to drive customer satisfaction and product improvements

Aviatrix is trying to modernise cloud technology by overcoming the isolation of different clouds that are built and operated by different companies. Its software facilitates multi-cloud networking, providing visualisation, smooth data access, and firewall management.
The cloud revolution caused a mass migration of companies’ data from on-premise storage to cloud storage, but this migration is still ongoing. Aviatrix’s software helps with this migration and then allows these clouds to communicate with each other, while maintaining security, data integrity, automation, and user friendliness.
The rapid growth and enormous potential in this market have been noted by other companies, and while investments are currently high, the space is likely to become crowded as competitors such as Site24x7 offer similar services. However, Aviatrix is a well-placed early adopter in an area of networking that hasn’t seen true innovation for years.
