Who you are
- Experience: At least 5 years of technical program management experience, with a proven record of leading complex technical projects
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering, information technology, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a bias for action
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences
- Passionate about creating and sustaining a collaborative team environment
- Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of helping define and refine processes
- Mission-oriented, detail-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join Postman’s Cloud Platform team
- In this role, you’ll partner with engineering and product leaders to drive the successful execution of complex initiatives that power Postman’s platform
- You will own program management across multiple squads, facilitate development rituals, and ensure transparent communication and documentation of project status across the organization
- We are seeking a self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving environment, can help define and improve our processes, and is capable of designing and executing plans for complex, cross-functional projects
- This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in scaling our cloud platform operations and increasing overall organizational productivity
- Drive end-to-end project management for complex, cross-functional initiatives within the Cloud Platform team
- Facilitate standard development rituals, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups, ensuring alignment and efficiency
- Create and maintain clear project documentation, status updates, and communications for stakeholders at all levels
- Act as scrum master for assigned squads, fostering agile practices and continuous improvement
- Partner with engineering leadership, product management, and other TPMs to define, implement, and evolve consistent processes and tools across teams
- Anticipate risks and proactively remove obstacles to keep initiatives on track
- Contribute to building a culture of collaboration, accountability, and results across the Cloud Platform team
