Role
Who you are
- 8+ years of industry experience in software testing
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks
- Experience with database testing
- Proficient in API testing
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools (Selenium, Postman, Cypress, etc.), and processes
- Hands-on experience with both functional and non-functional testing
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure, with strong organizational and decision-making skills
- Familiarity with testing a CRM (ideally Salesforce) is a plus
- Experience with Docker is a plus
- Experience with version control – ideally Git and GitHub, is a plus
- Experience with AWS Lambda or similar serverless computing is a plus
- Agile/Scrum environment experience is highly desirable
- Proficiency in Python is a plus, but not required
What the job involves
- In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the quality of our software products through the design and execution of automated tests
- As a key player in our Agile team, you will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business and customer needs
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to understand business and product requirements
- Design and execute test strategies and test plans
- Create automation to assist testing processes and provide faster feedback to developers
- Provide support to Engineering, DevOps, and internal teams through testing, troubleshooting, and monitoring
- Document defects, conduct code reviews, and assist in diagnosing and testing fixes
- Drive quality improvements using automation, metrics, and data-driven processes
- Understand and contribute to the interconnectivity of engineering components
- Actively participate in Agile Scrum processes, including sprint planning, daily scrums, and retrospectives
