Role
Who you are
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a field related to Marketing, Communications, Business, Management, Administration, Environmental Science and/or Policy; OR:
- You study Business Economics, Finance, Finance, Engineering, Environmental studies or related and are passionate about Sustainability and ESG issues
- You have excellent collaboration skills with a high level of proficiency in written and spoken English (C1 at minimum). Knowledge of other languages is a plus
- You are very well organized and detail oriented, and able to work in a busy, international environment
- You have a high degree of comfort using common software packages and online tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Experience of using design software; Expeprience with CMS editor, Wordpress is a plus; Canva or other editing software
- Unfortunately, we cannot sponsor visas for this role. You must already possess the right to work in the Netherlands
What the job involves
- We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic intern to join our small marketing, events, and communications team.
- This six-month internship offers a broad range of experiences in marketing and communications to help you develop your professional skills and competencies.
- You will gain hands-on experience in digital content development and support a variety of marketing initiatives
- Assist with digital content creation and updates across multiple channels, including website content, LinkedIn, newsletters, and insight articles
- Help review, rewrite, and structure existing content to align with updated brand and messaging guidelines
- Help record and edit audio and video content using Descript
- Help prepare and send out list emails and newsletters to targeted audiences
- Identify gaps, outdated information, and opportunities for improvement in marketing materials
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather and refine marketing content, including text, visuals, brochures, and more
- Support the application of SEO best practices, such as keyword usage and meta descriptions, to enhance online content visibility
- Provide general support for marketing projects and events to ensure smooth execution and successful outcomes
Our take
The international community has set a target for net zero emissions by 2050, but to make that happen, businesses need reliable data on environmental, social and governance (ESG) metrics. GRESB was founded in 2009 to provide ESG data on business assets based on self-reported data and has since become regarded as the gold standard for investment managers to assess their ESG performance.
GRESB is the only ESG framework specifically designed for real estate, and it has earned widespread adoption within the industry. The platform now covers over $8T in assets - more than double the amount reported in 2019 - solidifying its reputation as an essential tool for investment managers. This growth reflects the growing emphasis on sustainability in real estate investment and the increasing demand for transparent, reliable ESG data.
The company continues to evolve its ESG model to better serve its users. Recent moves include the acquisition of companies like Asset Resolution, which develops tools for acquiring data from hard-to-measure sectors. Alongside this, the company has substantial funding which will help it further enhance its offerings and play a critical role in the transition to a sustainable, net-zero economy.
