Role
Who you are
- The position requires having a strong background with BI Platforms, data governance, and data connectors, with extensive knowledge of Google Big Query, Sigma (or similar BI platforms), DBT, JavaScript, and SQL
- This position requires hands-on operational skills which will grow with the department
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with data
- Strong knowledge of Google Big Query,Sigma (or similar BI platforms), DBT, and SQL
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
What the job involves
- The Analytics Engineer position will manage and govern data at Honeylove.
- The Analytics Engineer will assist with maintaining our data warehouse and internal schema.
- Work with organizational stakeholders to understand their data visualization needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
- Utilize Google Big Query, Sigma, DBT, JavaScript, and SQL to facilitate advanced data analysis and reporting
- Assist in Implementation and maintenance of data pipelines, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
- Collaborate with dedicated contractors and colleagues assisting in day-to-day activities
- KPIs;
- Work with internal stakeholders to define and present important company metrics
- Build, maintain, and review dashboards for the company and departments
- Ensure high-priority Marketing requests are completed in a timely manner
- Encourage adoption of our BI and data tools via training and ongoing support

Stemming from a discomfort performing on stage and a want for functional yet aesthetic shapewear, well known vocalist Betsie Larkin founded Honeylove using her name to springboard the company, gaining interest from investors like Serena Williams. The company has completed several funding rounds, impressing its investors not only with its rapid growth but by profiting simultaneously, which for many start-ups is a difficult feat.
Founded in 2018 the venture-backed DTC startup can now be found on the top reviewed shapewear lists for the likes of Vogue and InStyle with a customer base of nearing 2 million. Honeylove has ventured beyond its shapewear roots and offers other clothing like sleep and loungewear. The company sells some of its products in stores such as Nordstrom and Dillard's. With a strong partnership with Dress for Success San Francisco (non-profit empowering women to achieve economic independence) the company details a strong spirit to the empowerment of women in all walks of the business within its products and beyond.
