What the job involves
- As a Content Marketing Specialist, you are instrumental in supporting our brand and growing our reach, as well as monitoring and upholding our online reputation
- In this role, you will be responsible for crafting compelling content, managing our social media profiles, overseeing customer reviews, producing engaging success stories, and supporting effective marketing campaigns
- Your creativity, attention to detail, and strategic insight will significantly enhance our online visibility and support our Marketing growth goals
- This is a full-time exempt position and reports to the Senior Marketing Manager, Lily Malota
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop a content calendar that includes social media posts, blog articles, and other short-form content
- Write and edit various content as needed, including success stories, website copy, blog posts, email copy, and promotional materials
- Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience across all channels
- Develop and implement a comprehensive B2B & B2B2C social media strategy across various platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Growing our social media presence by creating and curating engaging and shareable content, including posts, images, videos, and infographics
- Monitor social media channels for trends, comments, and messages to adjust strategy and engagement tactics
- Analyze social media metrics to measure the impact of campaigns to continuously improve strategies and share insights with the broader Pathstream team
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging social media platforms to keep our presence fresh and relevant
- Monitor online reviews across platforms like Trustpilot, engaging proactively through automated systems to encourage ongoing feedback
- Respond to reviewers by addressing their concerns and expressing appreciation for their feedback, fostering a positive community engagement
- Generate quarterly reports on social media performance and success story engagement, as well as review management effectiveness
- Provide insights and recommendations at weekly marketing meetings based on data analysis to optimize strategies and achieve organizational goals

Applicant Tracking Systems are frequently used by companies to filter out resumes that do not include essential skills. However, University degrees often focus on generalized skill sets as opposed to career-critical skills, resulting in many strong candidates slipping through the cracks.
Pathstream builds optimized digital skill programs for job seekers by partnering with companies and educational institutions, with programs designed in collaboration with companies including Salesforce, Facebook and Tableau. The startup's aim is to deliver courses in career-critical skill sets to ensure applicants have all the necessary skills relevant to their career path.
Pathstream believes that degrees in the US still focus too much on qualifications in antiquated skill sets. It does not want to replace educational institutes, but partner with them to teach platform-centric and industry-critical skill sets. Strong funding and a good initial reach will support this aim moving forward.
