Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of lifecycle marketing or related experience
- Hands-on experience with a major Email Service Provider (ESP); Iterable experience is a plus
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment
- Familiarity with foundational technical tools/languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) used in lifecycle campaigns
- Strong grasp of key marketing metrics and campaign analysis, with a record of ownership and delivery
What the job involves
- Lifecycle marketing is a key driver of MasterClass's ongoing success
- In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape the user journey and make meaningful contributions across communication channels for our consumer audience
- You'll join a team of talented, motivated marketers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, Data, Engineering, and more
- Design and execute programs and campaigns tailored to various customer cohorts to drive acquisition and engagement
- Manage key lifecycle marketing functions, including the creative brief process, messaging/content direction, audience segmentation, product alignment, launch updates, quality assurance, data integrity checks, and stakeholder approvals
- Analyze campaign performance end-to-end, using insights to inform next steps and future strategies
- Share key updates, milestones, successes, and learnings from campaigns with leadership and cross-functional partners
- Develop and oversee an experimentation strategy for acquisition and engagement, continually improving performance
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Data, Creative Operations, Legal, etc.) to ensure lifecycle communications are relevant, personalized, and on-brand
