Who you are
- Deep technical expertise in networking, cloud infrastructure, or cybersecurity technologies is essential, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales, including 6+ years leading high-performing, geographically distributed sales teams in high-growth environments
- Proven ability to execute MEDDPICC or similar strategic sales methodologies to consistently exceed revenue targets and close high-value deals in enterprise settings

- Exceptional ability to build trust and strong relationships across diverse teams and customer stakeholders

What the job involves
- As part of our strategic approach, we will have two leaders spearheading the US Accounts function, with one overseeing the East region and the other the West
- In this capacity, you will lead the East region and report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer
- As VP Sales, East North America, you will be a key driver of Aviatrix's growth trajectory, shaping our regional strategy and building a world-class sales team
- This pivotal role offers the opportunity to influence company success through a customer-focused, velocity-driven approach
- Drive the development of a high-performing sales organization by recruiting top talent, fostering continuous learning, and maintaining a culture of accountability and innovation
- Leverage advanced analytics and metrics to enhance performance and optimize sales processes
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure the alignment of sales strategies with customer needs, driving satisfaction and retention
- Lead initiatives to incorporate customer feedback into product roadmaps and GTM strategies
- Integrate cutting-edge Generative AI tools to enhance account strategies, streamline reporting, and provide insights for better decision-making
Our take
Aviatrix is trying to modernise cloud technology by overcoming the isolation of different clouds that are built and operated by different companies. Its software facilitates multi-cloud networking, providing visualization, smooth data access, and firewall management.
The cloud revolution caused a mass migration of companies’ data from on-premise storage to cloud storage, but this migration is still ongoing. Aviatrix’s software helps with this migration and then allows these clouds to communicate with each other, while maintaining security, data integrity, automation, and user friendliness.
The rapid growth and enormous potential in this market has been noted by other companies and while investments are currently high, the space is likely to become crowded as competitors such as Site24x7 offer similar services. However, Aviatrix is a well-placed early adopter in an area of networking that hasn’t seen true innovation for years. It has also been named as one of 2024 's fastest growing private companies by Inc 5000, indicating its strong position.
