Role
Who you are
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related discipline)
- Are highly proficient in SQL and comfortable working with modern analytics stacks (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Sigma)
- Have 5+ years of experience designing and building analytical systems or dashboards that drive decision-making at scale
- Think deeply about how data is consumed, capable of turning complex datasets into intuitive, self-serve experiences
- Communicate insights effectively and collaborate seamlessly with technical and business stakeholders
- Bring experience with marketing analytics, experimentation, or growth measurement frameworks, especially in fintech
What the job involves
- The Data Analytics team at Imprint is dedicated to building a robust data foundation that drives smarter decision-making across the organization
- The team is responsible for developing and maintaining Imprint’s data infrastructure, which includes not only the data warehouse and data pipelines but also comprehensive analytics systems that support both daily operations and strategic initiatives
- We enable accessible, high-quality data to fuel insights into customer behavior, prioritize initiatives for maximum impact, and scientifically test new features and processes
- Leveraging these actionable insights, the team plays a crucial role in guiding Imprint's growth and profitability, empowering cross-functional teams to make well-informed, data-driven decisions
- We’re looking for an Analytics Lead to define how data drives marketing strategy at Imprint
- You’ll design the systems, metrics, and tools that shape how we invest, experiment, and grow
- Sitting at the intersection of data, marketing, and strategy, you’ll transform complex datasets into intuitive decision systems that help teams act quickly and confidently
- You’ll partner closely with Marketing, Data Science, and Data Engineering to create the analytical foundation for how Imprint measures impact, optimizes performance, and scales growth across programs and partners
- Drive marketing analytics strategy. Partner with Marketing, Data Science, and Engineering to define the metrics, models, and frameworks that guide campaign optimization, experimentation, and performance measurement
- Build data visualization as a product. Design intuitive, engaging dashboards that make insights immediately actionable and help teams make faster, better decisions
- Create scalable data foundations. Work with Data Engineering to design cross-channel, cross-campaign data models that enable robust performance analysis and long-term learning
- Accelerate experimentation and growth. Collaborate with Data Science to operationalize testing frameworks, build feedback loops into dashboards, and surface results that directly inform campaign strategy
- Evolve the data experience. Continuously improve how teams interact with data — balancing clarity, interactivity, and accessibility for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Champion a culture of evidence-based decision-making. Enable self-service reporting, promote analytical excellence, and advocate for visualization best practices that elevate decision quality across the organization
Our take
These days, all sorts of cards abound, from virtual cards to co-branded credit cards. Imprint aims to stand out in the increasingly crowded space by partnering with businesses to provide branded rewards cards for customers.
While there has been an increase in the number of companies offering branded financial products to reduce costs, Imprint sees its card programs as offering a new platform for deepening customer relationships: less of the nastiness of credit and a much greater focus on rewards.
The startup is focusing on refining its embedded finance solution to fulfil its vision of an Apple-pay like experience for merchants and consumers.
Imprint will hope that its lightweight service, fit for smaller customers like hotel chains, will allow it to compete with the major venture-backed players in the space like Cardless, Apto and Alviere. And its $75M in venture capital raised in 2023 is going some way towards achieving these aims.
