Role
Who you are
- Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience as a data analyst, ideally in SaaS or e-commerce
- Strong understanding of e-commerce & Saas metrics and KPIs
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing, multivariate testing, and statistical analysis
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data querying tools (e.g., BigQuery, etc)
- Strong proficiency in Google Analytics and other web analytics tools
- Strong understanding of marketing funnels, attribution models, and campaign analytics
- Solid communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
What the job involves
- As a Data Analyst, you will drive key data insights for our SaaS and Marketplace businesses, focusing on customer acquisition, engagement, and product optimization
- Your work will directly support our growth strategy, improving user segmentation, A/B testing, and marketing impact
- Reporting to the CEO, you will work closely with Product and Marketing teams
- Metrics Tracking: Monitor e-commerce funnel & SaaS KPIs to improve acquisition and retention
- A/B Testing: Design and analyze tests to inform product improvements and user experience
- Customer Segmentation: Develop customer profiles to guide marketing and product decisions
- Marketing Analytics: Assess campaign performance and optimize marketing ROI
- Data Reporting: Create dashboards to provide actionable insights
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, and leadership teams to support data-driven initiatives
Our take
Parisian Singulart aims to be the one-stop shop for people who are ready to invest in some upscale home decor. A large part of its pitch is built on its support for artists, with all the art and furniture listed on its site being the work of independent creators rather than mass-produced.
This means that every piece is unique, allowing the marketplace to stand out from many of its peers. Interestingly, it also boasts that half its artists are women, which is a rarity in the art world. It has partnerships with some more well-known artists, as well as operating a sister site - balthasart - for emerging creators.
Singulart has built a sizeable user base, and its gallery lists the work of thousands of artists and designers from over 100 countries. It has more recently implemented an AI search feature which allows users to find art by using natural language, and we're sure moves like this will cement its strong position in the art sales space.
