Role
Who you are
- This is a role for someone at the start of their creative strategy journey. Someone who already gets what makes great social media creative tick, writes briefs that inspire people, and is hungry to grow fast in a high-performance team
- You don’t need to have done it all before. You just need to show us you’re ready to
- 1 to 2 years of experience in creative, marketing or content role. Exceptional candidates with less will be considered
- A genuine understanding of creative strategy. You know what it is, why it matters and how great creative thinking connects audience insight to performance
- Strong brief writing skills. This is our non-negotiable. You can write a brief that is clear, insightful and genuinely useful to a creative team
- Good copywriting ability. Scroll-stopping hooks, punchy scripts and headlines that make someone want to keep watching. Your writing is purposeful and platform-aware
- A real knowledge of what is working on social media right now. You are across Meta, TikTok and YouTube and you have a point of view on why certain content lands
- An understanding of creative performance metrics. You know why CTR, hook rate and CPA matter, and you are curious about using data to make better creative decisions
- Organised and able to manage multiple briefs and markets at once. Things don’t fall through the cracks on your watch
- You are comfortable creating content - writing scripts, building assets in canva or similar tools and ideally shooting or featuring in short-form video content. UGC experience is a bonus but not essential
- And as always, we’re on the lookout for new Hueligans who love a fast-paced environment and are always striving to be their best

What the job involves
- Help shape Huel’s US paid social creative strategy, turning audience insight, data and bold creative ideas into scroll-stopping content that drives new customer growth
- Paid Social is our number one acquisition channel, and our US market is a key part of Huel’s global growth story. We’re looking for a Junior Creative Strategist to take on the creative strategy across the US
- Take on executing the US creative strategy, developing concepts, hooks and angles and build out the weekly roadmap of testing. You’ll work across the brief-to-analysis cycle to drive new customer acquisition on paid social
- Roll up your sleeves and create content yourself; whether that's scripting and filming your own UGC-style ads, building social assets in Canva, or editing raw footage. You don't need to be a professional creator, but you should be comfortable getting behind (or in front of) a camera
- Own creator outreach end to end in the UK and US, from first contact through to ongoing relationship management. You’ll be the main point of contact for our performance content creators
- Ideate and collaborate with our US agency partners. Bring fresh concepts and angles to the table, know when to double down on what is already winning, and support the development of briefs that keep the creative moving forward
- Translate the US creative strategy into clear, inspiring briefs for our in house team. You are the bridge between global creative and local execution
- Track and analyse creative performance across Meta, TikTok and YouTube, looking at CPA, CTR, CVR, and CPMs, and use what you find to iterate and test next
- Stay close to US consumer trends, competitive creative and platform changes, using insights to share with the team and take action on

Our take
Huel began as a provider of plant-based shake powders, but has since expanded its range to include ready meals, bars, and drinks. The company's potent branding has made it somewhat of a household name, and only a few years after founding it was both the world’s best-selling complete food brand and the UK’s fastest growing food and drink brand.
Having expanded into Europe, Japan, and the US, it is clear Huel has capitalised on increased consumer interest in nutrition and fitness over the past few years. It also caters to growing eco-consciousness, as its vegan products boast a minimal impact on animals and the environment.
By appealing to this strong pair of consumer trends, Huel has been able to grow its sales year-on-year, with progress unlikely to stop anytime soon. In an exciting move for the company, it was acquired by Danone in a €1B deal. Since being acquired in early 2026, the company has released a high-protein ramen, and doesn't look set to slow down on releases or growth anytime soon.
