Role
Who you are
- Extensive marketing management experience, including product marketing (B2B tech preferred) with a proven track record of launching innovative products
- Strong internal and external communications expertise
- Skilled in developing and evaluating B2B marketing strategies
- Proficient in executing diverse activities: events, social media, PR, direct marketing, advertising, and digital
- Versatile generalist, adept at testing and optimizing various engagement channels
- Capable of establishing marketing frameworks and collaborative processes
- Natural relationship builder with strong stakeholder rapport
- Strategic, commercial thinker with data-driven decision-making skills
Desirable
- Good design skills (e.g., Canva) are a plus
- Construction or retrofit sector experience is a plus but not essential
What the job involves
- Develop and execute marketing and communications strategies to expand UK and global partnerships and customer base
- Lead day-to-day marketing operations and overall strategic direction
- Collaborate with Sales to plan and implement B2B prospecting and pipeline-building activities
- Drive B2B engagement via campaigns, paid ads, content, PR, events, and trade shows
- Create and manage B2B content, including website copy, case studies, social media, sales materials, and communications
- Oversee LinkedIn and other social media platforms for B2B marketing
- Pursue PR opportunities through blogs, press releases, and articles to boost brand reputation and growth
- Lead thought leadership initiatives targeting B2B and government sectors to raise market awareness and shape policy
- Support quarterly investor communications
- Manage marketing budgets and financial goals
- Coordinate with product and commercial teams for market research and product launches
- Maintain and ensure brand consistency across messaging, tone, and visuals

Our take
AirEx is a climate tech manufacturing company on a mission to tackle fuel poverty and climate change. Its products address and remedy the fact that 36% of CO2 emissions across Europe come from heating buildings, many of which are inefficient in their energy consumption and retention. Of this heat loss, research has shown that 15% is due to air bricks - ventilation holes aiding natural airflow.
AirEx’s main products address these issues through smart ventilation retrofits. Tackling the conflicting needs of ventilation and energy efficiency, AirEx's floorvent product uses smart technology like sensors and algorithmic programmes to regulate the airflow of a property, thus improving both ventilation and efficiency.
The company’s pilot scheme for social housing retrofits has proved successful and led to 8,000 installations for its smart air brick solution. AirEx enjoyed £1.5 million in Series A funding in 2024, which will be used to scale its presence both in the UK and further afield.
