Role
Who you are
- We’re looking for a Social Media Content Creator who’s equal parts creative, strategist, and analytical
- Someone who understands how to make short-form content work on Instagram & TikTok, and translates vision into execution
- Proven experience creating content for social channels through ai and/or product-led storytelling and marketing
- Deep understanding of how to craft high-performing short-form video e.g. strong hooks, pacing, and storytelling instincts
- Comfortable on camera, behind the lens, and in the edit suite
- Experience designing repeatable content series that build audience and momentum
- Strong understanding of multi-channel strategy, including what works (and why) across each platform
- Analytical and evidence-led; you test, learn, and adapt with precision
- Comfortable briefing and collaborating with creative, paid, and influencer teams
- Experience setting up workflows or small team operations to scale social output
- Bonus: experience with B2B, SaaS, or AI/tech brands
- Understands the value of community engagement on the impact of a channel and feed into the engagement strategy on the channels you own
What the job involves
- You’ll own VEED’s social content creation across Instagram & Tiktok primarily, turning product features, trending moments, and AI innovation into creative content that builds and grows these channels
- You’ll set the creative direction, concept and script content, brief assets with our design and motion team, and lead VEED’s social storytelling on-camera across both organic and paid
- Analytics into action → Obsess over data. Lead a performance-driven social strategy, translate insights into action, and set the benchmark for launch success
- Product storytelling → Turn VEED’s AI and video features into scroll-stopping, product-led content that sparks discovery and drives usage for our core ICP of marketers and creators
- End-to-end creation / production → Concept, script, film, edit, and publish video content primarily across TikTok, and Instagram. Bonus if you are already experimenting with ai content creation too!
- On-camera content creation → Be both behind and in front of the camera, serving as a recurring on-screen presence for VEED's brand channels
- Multi-platform campaigns → Build and execute differentiated strategies across channels, tailoring content formats and tone to maximise reach and engagement
- Trend radar → Stay plugged into cultural shifts and AI innovation. Spot opportunities early, test quickly, and scale what lands
- Creative collaboration → Brief and work closely with our brand designers, motion team and editors to develop visuals, carousels, motion templates, and ad creatives
- Influencer & partner collaboration → Work in collaboration with our Influencer Marketing Manager and internal teams to create content that amplifies reach and sparks conversation
- Operational leadership → Establish workflows, content calendars, and KPIs that make social measurable and scalable, without losing the creative spark

VEED is an online tool that aims to make video editing as simple as possible. With a user interface stripped down to the bare essentials, VEED allows creators and marketers to edit videos, add subtitles and credits, and share and distribute the end product. By specifically focusing on the needs of a social media-first audience, the founding team have created a product that integrates seamlessly with key platforms and can be used without training.
The platform has grown significantly since its launch in 2018, and now boasts hundreds of thousands of monthly active users, and month-to-month growth. The founders have ambitious growth plans for the coming decade as they build out their team and grow their user base to become the online video editing platform of choice.
