Who you are
- If you’re a Social Media Manager on a mission to mastermind the next platform and presence EVERY brand will be wishing they had, come unleash your wildest ideas at Napo

- Ability to translate company goals into a content strategy that resonates with our target market
- A true dog lover… you must know your Labrador from your Visla and be happy to get up close and personal with the dogs you are filming
What the job involves
- Create engaging, high-quality content across multiple platforms, ensuring consistency and optimising for each platform’s strengths
- Build meaningful engagement with our audience, both online and at in-person events - capturing and sharing unforgettable moments
- Promote our events through compelling social campaigns, driving brand awareness and customer interest
- Collaborate with our marketing team to refine and deliver our social strategy, boosting our online presence and increasing word-of-mouth engagement
- Expand on our brand stories through our social channels with a focus on TikTok and Instagram, helping us grow our presence while staying true to our core values
- Execute content creation hands-on: film, edit, and produce videos and stills that capture our brand’s unique energy and resonate with our audience across platforms

Our take
High claims and a small market have traditionally made pet insurance an unappealing option for big insurers. With household pet ownership ballooning in the UK over the pandemic, however, that market is growing, and a flurry of startups are cropping up to cash in. Napo is a relatively young entrant to the scene, offering a comprehensive platform of low-excess insurance and wellbeing services for British pet-owners.
Pet insurance customers are a different and a more discerning breed to, for example, car insurance customers. Providers need to court pet-owners with a more comprehensive suite of coverage, including advertising costs and rewards for missing pets, and bereavement counselling. Napo ticks all these boxes, but they are rapidly becoming an industry standard in a way that requires more to stand out.
Trupanion, for example, are investing in high-tech streamlining solutions to help facilitate scaling without service quality taking a hit. And the larger, better established pet insurtech, Bought by Many, recently won a hefty sum in the pet industry’s largest VC investment deal. Napo have a friendly brand, and are entering into a growing market, but will have to adapt fast to keep pace.
