Social Media Content Specialist, Amazon

• Experience in social media, content creation, or marketing
• Strong editing skills, especially for short-form content (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.)
• Experience using generative AI tools (e.g. Claude, Nova, ChatGPT, Runway, etc.) in a creative or content production context)
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and emerging trends
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
• A strong sense of ownership and attention to detail
• Strong writing skills

• Amazon’s Social Media team is looking for a creative and driven UK Social Media Content Specialist to help grow and manage our social channels
• This role is based in our communications organisation and sits within our global Reputation and Content Strategy team
• In this role, you’ll help shape Amazon’s stories with customers, employees, creators, and communities through engaging, educational, and entertaining social media content
• You’ll work with internal teams and external creators, contribute to strategic planning, and execute test-and-learn content approaches across platforms
• This includes content related to our top business priorities—like retail, sustainability, employee experience, and more
• Support the development and execution of social media strategies across platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok)
• Create, curate, and publish engaging content that aligns with Amazon’s voice and goals
• Leverage generative AI tools (e.g. for ideation, copywriting, image generation, editing) to enhance creative output and productivity
• Monitor social trends—including AI-driven content trends—and performance metrics to inform future content
• Help manage the day-to-day operations of Amazon’s social media channels
• Conduct community management to connect with other brands and customers in and out of our owned channels
• Drive continual improvement of social content, backed by data, through an understanding of the link between content quality and performance
