Who you are
- Are you a software engineer who is passionate about seeing your code directly translate into business success? Are you driven to solve technical problems that have a tangible impact on revenue?
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, preferably in a product-focused environment.A technical degree or equivalent related experience in a software engineering role
- Proficiency in front-end languages and frameworks including JavaScript, React, JQuery, and HTML for developing responsive front ends that consume REST APIs. Familiarity with PHP is a plus
- Experience creating test plans, writing automated test suites, or implementing automated testing frameworks, with experience in Playwright being highly valuable
- Proven ability to work in an Agile development environment, collaborating effectively with a cross-functional team
- A strong foundation in software engineering best practices and experience working with tools like Gitlab, Vault, and Jira
- A genuine interest and experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers

- ActiveCampaign is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Growth Team
- You won’t just be writing code – you'll be at the forefront of our business strategy, running experiments and implementing features that directly influence our revenue growth
- You will be a key member of a cross-functional team focused on high-impact initiatives, including customer purchase and upgrade flows and billing management
- This is your opportunity to work on a highly visible, business-outcomes-focused team and see your contributions shape our company's trajectory
- Design and build new features and capabilities, producing high-quality, tested code that directly supports revenue growth strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with your team and others to build services and APIs that enable feature work across our engineering organization
- Troubleshoot and debug complex, large-scale systems to ensure a seamless experience for our 100K+ users
- Optimize production systems by measuring performance, validating designs, and building load testing tools
- Mentor junior engineers, participating in code reviews to provide helpful feedback and elevate the team's skills
- Own the design and implementation of critical projects involving multiple engineers
- Support both legacy and modern services in the public cloud, deploying them through CI/CD best practices
- Participate in the team’s on-call rotation as a service owner to ensure the reliability of our critical systems

The platform leverages machine learning and automation to increase the rate that its clients can scale their engagement levels, regardless of whether the user is running a small or large business.
Despite high-profile competitors, the company has found a gap in the market by providing an integrated and unified solution combining hundreds of tools. The platform is available as an entire package for enterprises, but smaller companies can opt for cheaper and streamlined tool kits. In 2022, ActiveCampaign announced the implementation of over 400 customer ideas into its product. It has also partnered with ActiveEngine, the first ActiveCampaign-only agency, to enable businesses to make better discovery calls and close more deals. With the 2024 opening of a hub in Krakow, it is further expanding its European footprint.
