Who you are
- Are passionate about gaming communities and building a relationship with players

- Are comfortable with English to create content using classic Google tools (Sheet, Docs, Slides)

- Are studying in a video game or digital communication school
- Ideally have experience in managing communities such as a Discord server
- Ideally have notions about the design of a game and/or how the mobile market works
- Ideally have basic knowledge of image editing software
What the job involves
- You will start by discovering everything about Pocket Champs to be familiar with its history and evolution of updates, its long-term community plan, and the future ambitions we have for the game in 2024
- You will meet the various teams you will be working with on a daily or weekly basis : developers, customer support, Quality Assurance, art) and discover the inner workings of a mobile game maker like Madbox
- You will learn the specific day to day Community Management operations under the supervision of a Senior Community Manager, participating in continuous exchanges with players to frequently share summarized feedback and help detect possible issues
- You will take on publishing responsibilities, writing new text for social networks, app stores or in-game news, setting-up content via various editors including the game’s dedicated website, and making sure they’re published on time following the established roadmap of content
- You will eventually become autonomous when managing all basic responsibilities of Community Management, building your own roadmap in collaboration with the Game Director, preparing your own art assets via templates or requesting brand new ones, setting-up localization request files and following it all up with community reports
- As the source of game news, you will ensure players can stay informed of all recent and upcoming app updates by publishing English articles on our website
- As the voice of Madbox, you will ensure players feel seen and heard by moderating and answering comments on our social platforms
- As the voice of players, you will ensure Madbox can gain knowledge about community concerns and desires by regularly summarizing all opinions and known issues you observe
- As the manager of social networks, you will ensure we maintain a frequent activity of posts by publishing various types of media to engage our followers with the brand
- As a point of contact representing Madbox and players, you will ensure our Customer Support partners remain aware of key community topics to anticipate and address issues
