Role
Who you are
- Previous experience in a People Coordinator or People Advisor role (including dual administration-people role)
- A People-first attitude and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with individuals at all levels within the organisation
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- A proactive and adaptable mindset with the willingness to take on new challenges and initiatives. We value a strong desire to learn and grow within the role
- Basic understanding of UK employment laws and regulations
- Previous work with HRIS (experience with HiBob is a plus)
- Curious and comfortable learning new systems and processes
- Familiarity with German, Swedish or Irish employment laws and regulations is a plus
What the job involves
- As a People Ops Associate at Griffin, you will play a vital role in championing our People-first approach and actively maintaining and improving our processes and supporting all Grifflings
- Handle documentation and processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Assist in onboarding new hires, making sure they have all the resources and information they need to succeed, and continuously improve the process
- Support initiatives that promote a positive and vibrant workplace culture, fostering collaboration and employee well-being
- Assist in the management of employee benefits and compensation programs
- Gather and analyse People data to make informed recommendations for improving processes and employee experiences
- Collaborate with the People team and managers to identify training and development needs to help employees grow and excel in their roles
- Maintain relevant up-to-date employment laws and regulations knowledge to keep the company's People practices in line with the legal requirements
- Support with company events
