Who you are

  • A few years for working experience would be beneficial, but you don’t need to have experience selling B2B SaaS - we’d like to see evidence that yu have experience in selling something (tell us what in your application!)
  • You have excellent communication (verbal and written) and listening skills, with a confident and energetic presence
  • You demonstrate grit and perseverance, never taking "no" for an answer and finding creative ways to succeed
  • You’re results-driven, constantly refining your approach and seeking better ways to achieve success
  • You’re comfortable going beyond the desk to meet customers face-to-face and build strong relationships
  • You’re adaptable, confident in cold calling, video prospecting, and experimenting with new channels
  • You have a keen interest in understanding and solving business challenges. You want to build a business and know it takes hard work and determination

What the job involves

  • Our Sales team at Humaans is looking for motivated, independent individuals with high social intelligence, ambition, and a natural instinct for selling to help drive our growth
  • As a Sales Associate, you'll be the initial point of contact, responsible for identifying and pursuing leads that will create exciting commercial opportunities

  • In this role, you’ll need to build relationships with top leaders, executives, and decision-makers at some of the most innovative and forward-thinking companies in the world

  • You’ll grow the top of the sales funnel primarily through cold outbound approaches
  • You’ll take ownership of identifying and implementing the best strategies to create pipeline
  • You’ll manage a list of high-potential target accounts aligned with our growth objectives as well as use your intuition to identify more ideal prospects
  • You’ll engage prospects across multiple channels, from email and phone to social media and chat
  • You’ll master our product and effectively communicate its value, offering solutions that capture prospects' attention
  • Your interactions with prospects will provide valuable insights to help improve our product and address customer needs

Our take

Human resources work is demanding and difficult, not least because few tools exist to cover large swathes of the job, and what is out there tends to be clunky and difficult to integrate with other company systems. Humaans exists to rectify this with a platform that allows companies to build a customised HR tech stack, uniting all of a company's people systems in a single, easy-to-use package.

As HR became more complex due to the move to hybrid and remote ways of work, HR tech grew into a major focus of investment. Humaans is one among a number of startups in this space which includes the likes of Darwinbox, BambooHR and Personio. But Humaans stands out with the flexibility of its approach, allowing its customers to develop their own HR workflows without constraining them with a one size fits all product.

Humaans has raised significant capital, most recently in a Series A round led by Lachy Groom with participation from senior Shopify and Slack investors. This is being used to develop the product and onboard new talent, as well as continue its expansion within the EU. With a solid product and a growing customer base which includes the likes of Pleo, Fidel API and Birdie, Humaans is well poised for future success.
