Role
Who you are
- 10+ years of experience in digital advertising, including sales, with a proven track record of delivering significant revenue growth in the UK and Northern European markets
- Deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem in these regions, and an established network of relationships with top-tier publishers, brands, agencies, and tech platforms
- Strong analytical capabilities, both strategic and creative, with the ability to apply this insight to drive business growth
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively articulating Scope3’s value proposition and inspiring stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a diverse and high-performing team
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across different functions, demonstrating a deep curiosity about global business dynamics and an aptitude for understanding regional and cultural nuances
- Agility and openness to the challenges of scaling a new business, with a comfortable approach to risk, uncertainty, and ambiguity
- An inherent interest in and alignment with Scope3’s mission and corporate culture, contributing positively to our team dynamics and organizational ethos
What the job involves
- Reporting directly to the Head of EMEA, this role will focus on leading partnerships and revenue generation in the UK and Northern Europe, emphasising engagement with top-tier publishers, brands, agencies, and tech platforms
- The Market Director will be instrumental in developing Scope3's commercial strategy for Europe's largest digital advertising region, driving sales, and positioning Scope3 as the preeminent sustainability-focused solution for digital media in these regions
- Establish and nurture senior-level relationships with leading publishers, brands, agencies, and tech platforms, particularly focusing on the UK and extending to other key Northern European markets
- Drive the adoption of Scope3 global solutions across local agency networks and channel partner teams, starting from London and expanding further
- In partnership with Finance and the Head of EMEA, develop and achieve revenue forecasts for the region, with a commitment to meeting or exceeding these targets
- Collaborate closely with Scope3’s leadership to provide insights from the UK and Northern European markets, informing the refinement of our international strategy
- Develop a deep understanding of Scope3’s products and the unique sustainability challenges and opportunities within the digital media landscape
- Act as a representative for Scope3 in industry events, seminars, and client engagements, promoting our mission and products in the region
