Role
Who you are
- 13+ years of experience in Business Development or Strategic Partner Management
- Deep understanding of blockchain and cryptocurrency technology
- Proven ability to negotiate and secure high-impact strategic deals with C-level executives
- Strong leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to hire, onboard, and develop high-performing teams
- Expertise in pipeline management and prioritization across a broad set of initiatives to drive business growth
- Passion for building and refining company processes, especially in early-stage business development initiatives
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, fostering long-term relationships that support partners and customers in their success
What the job involves
- Reporting to the VP, Business Development, Americas, you will be a senior leader driving strategic partnerships and ecosystem initiatives
- Delivering on ambitious business objectives aligned with Circle’s growth strategy
- Establishing and expanding strategic partnerships with major global organizations, including crypto exchanges, to drive the adoption and growth of USDC
- Executing and overseeing commercial deals across diverse ecosystem segments for Circle’s suite of products and services
- Designing and operationalizing a robust growth program to maximize ROI across partner and ecosystem initiatives
- Developing innovative partnership strategies that leverage Circle’s assets while integrating partner capabilities to drive business growth
- Bringing strategic and operational rigor to the Ecosystem Partnerships and Global Business team
- Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) and partnership strategy for key ecosystem segments and accounts
- Originate and manage a portfolio of strategic opportunities, driving partnership momentum, executing GTM plans, and validating beta products
- Foster a culture of high integrity, collaboration, customer focus, and data-driven decision-making within the team
- Establish and maintain strong executive relationships with key decision-makers at major organizations, including the world’s largest centralized exchanges
- Identify and develop new programs, resources, and capabilities required to close high-impact business opportunities and achieve company OKRs
- Provide regular reporting and clear communication on key KPIs, metrics, and partnership performance
