Who you are

  • Enterprise Experience: 5+ years of pre-sales experience supporting mid-market and enterprise SaaS sales teams
  • Proven success in guiding strategic discussions with marketing/digital leaders in large organizations

What the job involves

  • As a Sr. Solutions Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in driving Conductor's success within the enterprise market. You'll partner with sales teams and directly engage with customers to deeply understand their strategic goals, develop compelling business cases, and deliver tailored product solutions that demonstrate the potential value of the Conductor platform
  • Strategic Consulting: Proactively engage with existing and prospective enterprise customers to uncover their SEO, content, and web operations needs. Translate these into clear business objectives and tailor recommendations that directly support their achievement
  • Value-Driven Engagement: Coordinate virtual and on-site sessions for customized assessments, value mapping, data insight projects, and workshops aligned with enterprise customer priorities
  • Data-Driven Storyteller: Analyze data models, identify patterns, and forecast trends to craft persuasive business cases that demonstrate the potential ROI of Conductor solutions
  • Technical Sales Partner: Collaborate closely with Sales Managers and teams on technical aspects throughout the sales cycle, driving complex deals to close
  • Product Expertise: Master Conductor's product suite and stay updated, understanding best-use scenarios for enterprise customers. Stay updated on industry trends to inform your consultative approach
  • RFP/RFI Champion: Lead the response to proposals and information requests, ensuring compliance with security requirements and showcasing Conductor's strengths
  • Brand Ambassador: Represent Conductor with professionalism and enthusiasm at industry events and conferences

The internet is increasingly becoming a walled garden, with content and vital market intelligence hidden away on social media sites, gaming environments and apps. And with increasing regulaion in the data protection space such as GDPR, it can be harder for marketing teams to gain insight into what potential customers exist, and what they want.

Conductor exists to change that. Taking advantage of the power of search ("No one ever lies to a search engine", in the words of the company's CEO and co-founder), it utilises data from search traffic to help marketing teams build more effective campaigns. Able to help optimize search results, track keyword rankings and measure performance, it has led to doubling the rate of conversions and site traffic among its customer base, which includes the likes of Citibank, athenahealth and Canon.

With a record of substantial funding and growing revenue from its customer base, Conductor is continuing to invest in its technology, making strategic acquisitions to help it expand. For instance its acquisition of ContentKing allowed it to add real-time website auditing and monitoring to its platform, and its 2023 acquisition of Searchmetrics is aimed at accelerating its growth in Europe. As the SEO space enters a period of consolodation it seems that Conductor is well positioned to remain at the top of the search results.
