5+ years experience in full stack software development
5+ years delivering sophisticated code with JavaScript, React and Node or C#
3+ years of experience building and shipping consumer products and service applications

What the job involves

As Senior Full Stack Engineer, Community, you will partner with a team of hard-working Engineers to further develop Roblox Groups and Guilded core product and delight users
You will integrate Guilded's product with the Roblox platform, and collaborate with partners to deliver high-quality user functionality
You will have the independence, opportunity and the end-to-end responsibility to ship features that are scalable and resilient
You will work with the Engineering Manager for Community
Work with teams and technology platforms to deliver high quality and outstanding user functionality
Improve the product quality by working in Guilded for daily communications, testing and deploys
Have the independence, opportunity and the end-to-end responsibility to ship features that are scalable and resilient
Be a technical bar-raiser for high code quality, architectural designs, and long-term approaches
Work with hard-working Engineers, Designers, and Community team members
Lead your work and take ownership of projects throughout their full life cycles

In addition to standard games, the platform offers virtual worlds and other experiences to explore and interact with. Its platform provides an online ecosystem for millions to create, socialize, chat, and explore immersive experiences with friends. In fact, in the US its used by two-thirds of children aged 9 to 12.

The experiences on the platform are made by Roblox's over three million creators, and are available on a range of devices from PC to Xbox to Oculus, and more. The company has grown at an impressive rate, and has been keen to adopt new developments in the tech world, for example with its real-time AI translation for players to interact outside their native tongue.
