Our take
In sports, advancements in wearable and other data-gathering tech have opened the door to improving athlete performance and reducing the risk of injury. Kitman Labs supplies an analytics platform for just these reasons, helping the sports industry to make sense of their data.
Its platform furnishes teams and management with performance, competition and training analytics, as well as injury risk assessments and treatment guidance. The company also operates a team of performance experts to support customers (coming from positions including athletic directors, coaches, scouts and sports scientists).
Following the strategic acquisitions of both The Sports Office and Presagia Sports, Kitman Labs cultivated the industry's largest dataset of talent, performance and medical data. Its platform is used by hundreds of elite teams including members of the NFL and EPL, as well as by military organizations and in the Olympics.
