• You are an experienced Pre-Sales Consultant, Sales Engineer, or Solution Consultant with a background in KYC, Customer Due Diligence, or SaaS Fintech

• Pre-Sales & Solutions Consultancy Expertise: Proven experience in a pre-sales or solutions consulting role for SaaS software solutions, with a strong understanding of both UI and API-based functionalities
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Financial Services, Fintech, & SaaS Expertise: In-depth knowledge of financial services, fintech, and SaaS platforms, including how API integrations facilitate seamless data exchange, workflow automation, and enhanced user experiences
• Familiarity with financial institutions’ operational challenges and compliance landscapes
• Technical Background: A degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong grasp of software development principles, APIs, cloud-based architectures, and modern technology stacks used in fintech and financial services
• Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management: Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and challenge both business and technical stakeholders
• Experience presenting complex solutions, responding to RFPs, and guiding clients through decision-making processes
• Implementation & Delivery Experience: A track record of successfully implementing new technologies within financial services organizations, ensuring smooth deployment and adoption
• Ability to translate client requirements into technical solutions and oversee proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives
• Strategic Problem-Solving & Risk Mitigation: Ability to anticipate potential challenges in pre-sales engagements, product implementation, and API integrations
• Experience developing proactive mitigation strategies to ensure project success and minimize risks

Desirable

• We are currently looking for a Solution Consultant to work alongside our Global Presales team and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams to progress deals through our sales process
• You will partner with prospects to prove value, define use cases, and drive transformational change
• Post-contract, you will support the client through requirements finalisation, project planning, and execution to ensure a successful implementation and value realisation
• Liaise directly with technical teams in client organisations to manage and run Proof of Value (POV) projects, including process mapping, baseline results, side-by-side comparisons, and business case development
• Explain and demonstrate all platform functionality with confidence and clarity
• Articulate how Encompass aligns with customer target operating models and industry standards
• Be the point of contact for prospects’ technical and product questions, including responding to RFP/RFI requests
• Represent Encompass at key conferences and marketing events, evangelising our platform’s AI and automation capabilities
• Capture and communicate local market requirements to Product for roadmap consideration
• Manage vendor assessment processes, including security reviews and liaising with technical colleagues for in-depth responses
• Capture and document program scope, ensuring a smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales
• Lead interactive workshops with clients and prospects to fully understand their requirements
• Design and execute client training and rollout plans, working alongside Customer Success teams
• Provide expert guidance on automated policy design and best practices as part of the Policy Design Authority Board
• Maintain client engagement post-sale, identifying opportunities for additional value-driven, billable work
• Contribute to initiatives that drive client adoption, accelerate sales cycles, and improve operational efficiency
• Develop tools, reports, and methodologies that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of sales and customer operations
