Who you are
- We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic QA Engineer to join our Engineering team in Barcelona HQ
- 4+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer
- Experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as Manual UI Testing, Automated Testing, Agile testing methodology, and other. Performance and Security testing is nice to have
- Must have experience with software QA tools and processes in Cloud SaaS product
- Experience with coding using Python, Robot Framework or other languages is nice to have
- Desired experience with web security technology
- You're passionate about IoT & technical challenges
- Strong analysis and practical problem-solving abilities to resolve challenging situations
- Communication and being a team player is mandatory
- A good level of spoken and written English is required
- Ability to organize work with little day-to-day direction
- Track record of flexibility in response to changing circumstances
- A good team player with excellent verbal and written skills along with a strong commercial focus
- A can-do, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude

What the job involves
- As our Quality Assurance Engineer your primary focus will be to help drive our quality strategy to allow us to grow, maintain and scale our platform
- To us, bringing you on board will mean providing our users and stakeholders with high standards of quality, contributing to an amazing user experience
- You will work together with your Scrum team and Product team, taking ownership of the testing processes and helping to define how the application works, and always ensuring the highest quality possible
- Our technical stack consists of ReactJS, Python 3.5+, Mapbox, Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, FastAPI, and Flask, among many others
- Regarding our QA stack, we use QATouch, Robot Framework, Python, Jenkins, Jmeter and Postman, among others
- Test current products, identify deficiencies and report them
- Work on the Acceptance Criteria for team user stories
- Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution. Help planning testing activities with PO and Dev Team lead
- Write test plans, test cases and provide suggestions on improving the QA processes. Explore different testing approaches other than happy path
- Suggest solutions to identified product problems
- Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction
- Oversee continuous improvement projects
- Collect quality data and identify key KPIs for product quality
